Emilio Gonzalez was stuck around 15% in a 13-way field for Miami Mayor, on a limited budget, well behind the front-runner, with social media that wasn't breaking through. To make the runoff, he had to get noticed. That was the job.
We didn't make "political content." We made content people actually wanted to watch and share, the Cracker Barrel "true Miami original," "Fear the Beard," and rapid-response reels, all pointed at one message and running in both English and Spanish. Most campaigns use social to document the campaign. We used it to move voters.
